Privacy Policy

aimove is built on trust. We collect only the data we need to operate our service, we never sell your personal information to third parties, and we store your data securely within Switzerland or the European Economic Area in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who We Are

OJ Digital Solutions ('aimove', 'we', 'us', 'our') is a company registered in Switzerland. We operate the aimove platform — a web and mobile marketplace that connects customers seeking transport services with verified Swiss transport companies, using AI-powered analysis to generate instant pricing.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Account data: Name, email address, phone number, role (customer or company), and password hash.
  • Transport request data: Pickup and delivery addresses, item descriptions, preferred dates and times, and any notes you provide.
  • Media uploads: Photos and videos of items you submit for AI analysis. See Section 4 for full details.
  • Payment data: Payment is processed by our third-party provider (Stripe). We store only a payment reference — no card numbers are stored on our servers.
  • Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and app interaction data used for security and service improvement.

3. Why We Collect It

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • To provide the aimove service — matching customers with transport companies and generating AI price estimates.
  • To process and manage transport bookings and payments.
  • To verify transport company accounts and maintain platform quality.
  • To send service-related notifications (booking confirmations, status updates).
  • To improve AI accuracy and platform performance using anonymised, aggregated usage data.
  • To comply with Swiss and applicable EU legal obligations.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal effects without human oversight.

4. Media You Upload (Photos & Videos)

We understand that photos and videos of your home contents are sensitive. Here is exactly how we handle them.

  • Uploaded photos and videos are processed by our AI systems to identify items, estimate volume and weight, and generate transport pricing.
  • Media files are stored securely in encrypted Swiss-based or the European Economic Area storage.
  • Matched transport companies receive access to your media files only to assess the job and plan logistics.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only as necessary to operate the platform:

  • Transport companies: Receive your transport request details, addresses, and uploaded media to enable service delivery.
  • Stripe (payment processing): Processes card payments. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. Their privacy policy governs payment data.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers: We use Swiss-based or GDPR-compliant cloud providers for hosting and storage.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or marketing organisations.

6. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on servers located in Switzerland or within the European Economic Area. We apply technical and organisational security measures including data encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and the relevant supervisory authority within the legally required timeframes.

7. Your Rights

Under the FADP and GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data ('right to be forgotten'), subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to operate the platform (session management, security, language preferences) and anonymous analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can manage cookies via your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email and update the 'Last updated' date above. Continued use of aimove after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
