Cookie Policy
AI-Move uses essential cookies to run the platform securely — these aren't optional. With your permission we also use analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used, and marketing cookies to measure whether our ads on Google and Meta (Facebook, Instagram) lead to registrations. You can accept, reject, or change your choice at any time. If you reject analytics cookies, we still measure visits and actions anonymously, without cookies and without any personal identifier. We never sell your data, and we never share your name, email address or phone number with advertising platforms.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files your browser stores when you visit AI-Move. They let the platform recognise you as you move between pages — keeping you logged in, protecting your session, and remembering things like your language. A couple of these preferences are also mirrored in your browser's local storage, which works the same way as a cookie but stays on your device.
The Cookies We Use
What We Don't Do
We don't sell or rent cookie data, and we never pass your name, email address or phone number to Google, Meta, TikTok or OpenAI. If you reject marketing cookies, no marketing cookies are set and the Meta, TikTok and OpenAI pixels are not loaded. The only thing that remains is the always-on reporting of key actions, together with the ad click identifier, to the platform whose ad you clicked, described under Third-Party Cookies. If you reject analytics cookies, we still count visits and actions anonymously, but without cookies, account ID, guest ID or any other personal identifier.
Third-Party Cookies
When you add or manage a payment method, our payment partner Stripe may set its own cookies to process the transaction securely and prevent fraud. These are set directly by Stripe, covered by Stripe's own cookie policy, and we don't control them.
We also use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. Google Analytics cookies are set by AI-Move, but the data they collect is processed by Google, including on servers in the United States, under Google's standard contractual safeguards. See Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) for details on how Google handles this data.
When you arrive through a Google ad, we report your registration to Google Ads together with the Google ad click identifier from the link you arrived with, so Google can tell which ad led to it: in your browser with the Google Ads conversion tag, each time with the same reference number so that Google counts it only once. The same applies to opening the order form, to the data you enter in its first step and to reaching its last step; an order can be reported the same way. Nothing is sent from our server to Google Ads. We never send your name, email address or phone number to Google. If you haven't accepted marketing cookies, Google receives this only without cookies (Google Consent Mode, consent marked as denied): no Google Ads cookie is set or read, and the click identifier is kept in the address of the pages you visit on AI-Move. Google Analytics also receives the Google ad click identifier as a parameter of its events, so the data can be matched with Google Ads. None of this happens if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. Google Analytics records website activity such as registrations and move requests for statistics. If you have rejected analytics cookies, Google Analytics still receives these anonymous, cookie-free signals. Like every web request, they technically include your IP address and browser details, which Google processes for statistics and modelling.
If you arrive through a Meta, TikTok or OpenAI ad, we report the key actions (a registration, the opening of the order form, the data entered in its first step, reaching its last step and sending an order) only to that platform, together with the ad click identifier and the time of the event. If you accepted marketing cookies, this is done through the platform's pixel and server interface (Meta Pixel and Conversions API, TikTok Pixel and Events API, OpenAI Pixel and Conversions API), also with your browser type and the cookie identifiers set by the pixel. If you rejected marketing cookies, no pixel is loaded and no cookie is set; our server then reports the key action anonymously, with only the ad click identifier and the time of the event (Meta also receives the browser type, which its interface requires). We never send your name, email address, phone number, account or guest ID, or the price of your order, and we do not report page visits or clicks. These companies may process data outside Switzerland and the EEA, including in the United States: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms, Inc. (facebook.com/privacy/policy), TikTok Technology Limited and affiliated companies (tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy), OpenAI and affiliated companies (openai.com/policies/privacy-policy).
What Happens When You Choose
Accept all: the analytics and marketing cookies and the advertising pixel of the platform whose ad you clicked are used as described above.
Reject non-essential: no analytics or marketing cookies are set and no advertising pixel is loaded. Google Analytics receives only anonymous, cookie-free signals, and our own usage statistics link only the visits within your current session. The always-on ad click identifier stays active: if your visit started with an ad, a registration, the first or last step of the order form or a sent order is reported without cookies to the platform whose ad you clicked, together with the ad click identifier; for a Google ad this also goes to Google Analytics and Google Ads, with consent marked as denied.
Browser signal: if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the ad click identifier is neither stored nor reported.
No choice yet: the essential functions and the always-on ad click identifier already work; analytics and marketing cookies and advertising pixels wait until you decide.
Managing Cookies
You can change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time with the button below or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Withdrawing consent removes the analytics or marketing cookies AI-Move has set.
You can block or delete cookies anytime in your browser settings. Since our cookies are essential, though, doing so will break core parts of AI-Move — you won't be able to stay logged in, submit a move request, or complete a booking.
To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, without blocking other cookies, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Rejecting cookies stops cookies and personal identifiers, but not the always-on ad click identifier and the anonymous, cookie-free measurement. To stop the ad click identifier as well, let your browser send the Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, or contact us. You can also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
You can also manage advertising directly in your accounts at the platforms: Google (myadcenter.google.com), Meta (Accounts Center > Ad preferences) and TikTok (Settings and privacy > Ads).
